Fred got tired of the inaccurate location information found when job hunting or when contacted by headhunters. He was once contacted for a 3 months contract 200km from where he lives, that is when the Jobtrottr seed was planted. Fred wondered how nice would it be to find a better job that would also allow him to save time, money and the environment?

Fred spent the next couple of months brainstorming the idea of a Geo-location based job search, armed with this knowledge, his 10 years experience in the software industry, his web development certifications and a friend that would back him up, Fred set out to build a revolutionary online local job search service that will change the way people look for jobs online. And if it doesn't work out, he can still use Jobtrottr to find his next job.

Eric came along when Fred showed him the drafted web site, to which he said ‘cool idea but ugly design’. That’s how Eric got stuck with redoing the design. Eric has been doing web development for the last 12 years and recently added web design to his arsenal. Eric being a perfectionist is still not completely satisfied with the design and claims that it’s a work in progress.
